Marietta Reads! Factors In All-America City Selection

Marietta selected All-America City among ten best in nation, 2006 As part of the National Civic League process that led to Marietta ’s selection as an All-America City, the Judges required that the city demonstrate a program to benefit children. Marietta Reads!, the Marietta City Schools citywide effort to foster reading and literacy in the community, successfully helped the city illustrate how the program has increased student test scores and book circulation.
