Burruss Team Places 2nd at Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition, Feb. 7

The A.L. Burruss Elementary Reading Bowl team placed 2nd at the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition. They now advance to the state semi-final in Henry County on Feb. 21. Students will compete with teams from five other schools from the north region and the winner will face the south region winner on Mar. 7 at the Children’s Literature Conference in Athens.

MHS Team Places 4th at Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition, Feb. 7

Marietta High School’s Reading Bowl team competed for the first time in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition. The team placed 4th with a strong showing for it first competition. Over 1500 people gathered in Pickens County for the event. It was a great day for readers, demonstrating how much fun students can have with books.

MMS Team Places 5th at Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition, Feb. 7

Marietta Middle School’s Reading Bowl team recently competed in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl - State Competition. The team placed 5th from among 20 competitors. Congratulations MMS!
